Those of you who are serious students of Alexander are undoubtably aware that when Waldemar Heckel moved from the University of Trent to his current job at the University of Calgary, the archives for the Ancient History Bulletin disappeared from the Web, and that it has been difficult to obtain reprints from the AHB ever since.I am pleased to announce that stewardship of the AHB has now passed to Professor Craig Cooper, Chair of the Classics department at the University of Winnipeg, and that Prof. Cooper intends to revive the AHB - which will include scanning all back issues of the AHB and publishing them on the Web - by the end of summer, 2005.There is now an AHB placeholder page at: http://www.uwinnipeg.ca/faculty/classics/ahb.htmlwhich includes subscription information for 2005's Volume 19, and a "Note to contributors" link (which currently points to a page of outdated information).I'm sure this information will be welcomed by those of us who have sorely missed the AHB's Web presence.Regards,Thom Stark

That's fantastic news!I live nowhere near a university library. I was just getting my feet wet with Alexander research, and enjoying AHB as a resource, when all of a sudden... it was gone. I'm sure we all felt the disappointment.Kudos and thanks to Prof. Cooper for reviving it!And thanks, Thom, for letting us know.Erroso,
Karen

I echo Karen's sentiment - it will be delightful to have the bulletin available again in the near future. Thank you for posting this information.Linda Ann
