Contradiction of two Mutinies

Comrades HiBack to he Alexander real story,, Ive watched programes and read the text and to be honest I find real contradiction in terms regarding the two Mutinies Alexander had.I am beggining to maybe doubt the Indian mutiny and maybe think Alexander was ready to turn back.A few months later at Babylon Alexander in the thrawls of organising his second venture of conquest we hear of his troops yet again Mutinying because he was about to retire them all wealthy men back to Macedonia,, No disgrace with a few bob in the bank exactly what they had supposedly mutinies to do at the Beas. Now this dont make any sense at all to me according to writers and scholars Alexanders soldiers had by the the Beas had had there lot and wanted to go home, then he marched them back to Babylon through the Gedrosian dessert.Ok so heres the story having mutineid at Beas by the time Alexander was planning Arabia and western Europe, his soldiers would know what was entailed so it makes no sense that they would mutiny again to remain with Alexander.I may be off the plot here guys but I have always had my doubt with the validity of the Beas mutiny and that his soldiers were finished. In my opinion I feel it could really have been a mutual desision maybe Alexander had by now got fed up of the rain, Ice cold mountains and really didnt mind turning back, he knew he had already outdone even Heracles so I dont think it crazy to think its time for a respite. Get back to Babylon consolidate freshen up then sweep away the rest at the time of his choosing, By now the rising influences of Rome and Carthage maybe was more appetising to Alexander than chasing Guerilla fighters all over the Indian su continent.Whatever the storyu the mutinies dont add up.RegardsKenny
