I thought I had one in my files but can't find it. Where could I find a Macedonian calander? Is there a website that has one? Jona, could you help? Much thanks, ruthaki

There's a link to one somewhere in the archive, from about 18 months ago!Perhaps easier for someone who has one to send it to you, Ruth :-) I do have one, but not to hand (I'm at work). If no-one else can provide it sooner I'll happily dig it out for you.All the bestMarcus

Quite right Marcus, I had it posted :-)
I found it here: http://www.geocities.com/etaireiadeukalion/8.htmlThere are all the names of the months in the various Greek regions, as well as (no 10) the names of the monehts during the French revolution or 1789!
Macedonian names of months:
Peritios = Jan, Dystros = feb, Xanthikos = Mar, Artemisios = Apr, Daisios = May, Panemos = Jun, Loos = Jul, Gorpiaios = Aug, Hyperberetaios = Sep, Dios = Oct, Apellaios = Nov, Audynaios = December.Days of the week:
Heliodite (Sunday), Selenodite (MOnday), Areodite (Tuesday),Hermodite(Wednesday),
Heradite(Thursday),Aphrodite (Friday), Chronodite or Titanodite (Saturday). Also here: http://www.ysee.gr/html/zt_gousio.html (this is the site of the Greek Assosiation of Pagans-They usually go to Olympus and perform ceremonies in the woods :-) Their moto is "rather than an unimportant carpenter, we prefer the impregnable Sun).Their next Pan-European gathering will be in Antwerp.(http://www.wcer.org/)
