Yeia sas, If you would like to read the article I just had published "Searching for Alexander" you can try this link:
http://www.canada.com/vancouver/theprov ... ortunately the on-line article doesn't have all the photos illustrating it. It was a 3 page spread.

Searching for Alexander

Post by yiannis »

Hi Ruth. Thanks for sharing this and congatulations dear!
One comment: most people tend to agree that it was not Philip who was buried in the tomb. We had plenty of discussions in Pothos as well. All the best,
Yiannis

I am aware of the allegations that it isn't Philip's tomb, however on my most recent visit it is called that. And I, for one, believe it to be.
So, visitors can make up their own minds according to what findings they chose to believe in.

I enjoyed reading your story. I always remember the other story that appeared in the Toronto Press as it was printed on my birthday which leads me to the Murder In Babylon book and website of Graham Phillips. I thought of you and the library when I noticed that Alexander is portrayed as the ace of spades. In a recent horoscope book which made its way to the local Phoenix library, there was a use of deck of cards relating to birthdays and on mine was the Ace of Spades. So when I saw that card of Alexander as the ace of spades, I thought of you immediately. Why? Because of the Toronto article.I appreciated reading your advice for hotels, and for other places to visit, noteably Charonea. That place is very important for me as the date is special to me.Good luck still with your book. So many are coming out at once that it probably is better to be published later after all. I believe that a better movie may be made in future years if interest persists. I hope so anyway, as this one appears to be poorly reviewed and received. At Hollywood Reporter I read a review that sounds sane and sensible, and it does not make it look good. But there will be scenes and places where it will fulfill our hopes, I am sure.
