I am doing a bibliography on Alexander and his conscious or not so conscious policy of unifying the macedonians and persians. I was wondering if anyone here knows of any books that cover this topic and/or academic journal articles on it. Thanks for your help.

I can give you some pointers, certainly - but I need a bit of time to access my own bibliography if I am to give you any specific details.Don't go away! :-)Marcus

That's a good start, Karl. There are at least two or three more that I have details of, although I didn't have a copy of my bibliography with me at work, which I thought I did.All the bestMarcus

The classic statement of the Unity of Mankind-idea is W.W. Tarn trilogy of chapters in the first edition of the *Cambridge Ancient History* (1927). Tarn's later book on Alexander offers nothing new.Jona
