And that wig....why can't they just streak Farrell's hair, or make it light brown? He looks like some kind of alien, as seen in 60's Star Trek. Polystyrene temples..

There are also photos of him with *very* long hair - very reminiscent of the more popular sci-fi/fantasy TV programmes of the late 80s and early 90s - such as "Beauty and the Beast".I don't necessarily have a problem with the look; but I am intrigued as to why they went for it - if it's supposed to indicate that he was too busy campaigning in harsh weather conditions to cut his hair, then I wonder why his beard isn't longer...All the bestMarcusPS: But I'm not dissing the film - I'm looking forward to it and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it. I just fear most of my friends won't want to see it with me because they'll be expecting me to start moaning...

Probably reflecting the hostile pamphlet claims that he dressed up like female gods.Wasn't Lane Fox rather interested in that?

Michael Bolton *is* Alexander of Macedon.Have we discussed the story that Colin Farrell auditioned for Boyzone, but he couldn't sing, and Ronan Keating felt threatened by him, so he didn't get in? worlds clash

I vaguely remember hearing that story. I wonder what would have happened had Farrell made it with Boyzone? Maybe he would have ended up in Coronation Street instead ...Marcus
