We I lived in the village up on the mountain in Evvia, i had a little white rose bush which the scarabs loved. I found a couple of them (dead but still gorgeous) and I have them in my pot-pourri jar. They are just beautiful. A Greek friend said when he was a kid they used to catch them and keep them in little boxes like the Chinese keep crickets.
