Re: Daughters of Antipater!
I don't know how many daughters Antipater had, so I can't answer that one. I also don't know the name(s) of his daughter(s)...Sorry.But if someone *can* answer, I'll also be interested to know! All the bestMArcus
Re: Daughters of Antipater!
She is never named only the relationship stated Just. XI 7 i, Curt VII 1 vii; Diodoros XVII 80 ii makes him a relative of Antigonos but the mistake is an easy one and is paralleled in book XVIII where Antogonos is called Antiochos!
When you think about, it free-choice is the only possible option.

Re: Daughters of Antipater!
Hi Marcus and Karl,Yep! your right Karl, at least from what I can gather, Alexander Lynkestis wife is not mentioned by name.Marcus, Antipater had four daughters and six sons.Daughters:I : Phila - married to Balacrus of ATG's body guard, then to Craterus, ATG's famous general and when he died then married Demetrius, son of Antigonas.II: Eurydice - married to Ptolemy IIII:Nicaea - married to LysimachusIV: Unknown - married to Alexander Lynkestis. The old boy Antipater did well to consolidate his genes amongst the successors. One was bound to be king of the empire, at least thats what he thought?cheers!
