Many peoples think that Eskandar and Alexander were the same but in fact they were two different persons.
We know that after fall of Parthian Empire, Persians tried to defame Parthians. One of the earliest sources that we see the name of "Eskandar" there is "Arda Viraf Nameh" (Book of Arda Viraf) which was wrote in the third century. In this book we read:
And this religion, namely, all the Avesta and Zand, written upon prepared cow-skins, and with gold ink, was deposited in the archives, in Stakhar Papakan, and the hostility of the evil-destined, wicked Ashemok, the evil-doer, brought onward Eskandar, and he burned them up. And he killed several high priests and judges and priests and the masters of the Magians and upholders of the religion, and the competent and wise of the country of Iran. And he cast hatred and strife, one with the other, amongst the nobles and householders of the country of Iran; and self-destroyed, he fled to hell.
I don't think that there is any Greek or Roman source which confirms that Alexander have done such things. In fact there was no reason for any person except a Mithraist who wants to burn Zoroastrian texts.Eskandar was the same Ashk Antar (Great Arsaces/MEGALOU ARSAKOU) who was born in Nisa, modern Ashk Abad (Capital of Turkmenistan), and found Parthian Empire.
