My thoughts on this one are a little more modest. I'd just like to go drinking with him.

I hope you're a big drinker!I've been unwilling to get involved in this discussion, because I really don't know what I would want to do. But it's an excellent thread.I think, in the end, I'd just join your drinking competition. All the bestMarcus

Excellent idea, comrades!!! May I join? Amazons know the way of Dionysos...must have *intense* music for the atmosphere, along with dancers, good food, and...well...more imagination...and wine . Great fun!! Party time ATG style.

Bloody hell, Marcus. Not a competition!! I'm happy to go for it with both hands chucking it back, but not Macedonian style. Don't their winners usually drink themselves to death in a sitting?Tre, wine is good with me. Always have preferred it to the other stuff. Don't think it should be a white though. Can't really imagine Alexander and co getting stuck into a chirrupy Pinot Grigio or a tarty Chardonnay, or worst of all some nasty little Muscadet. How 'bout a monumentally big-bodied but silken Barolo?Thalestris, the Amazonian / Dionysian approach sounds dangerously exciting and lavish, both of which are good with me. Hope the dancers won't be dancing a waltz though. And what exactly would be on the menu?

Well, if you don't have the guts to make it a competition, I'll just go head to head with Alexander, then :-)Unfortunately, I won't partake of the red wine, but I'll be happy to match a gin and tonic (not too much of the tonic, mind) to every krater of full-blooded red wine...All the bestMarcus

I think he would absolutely love blasting off into space! I like the idea of seeing him look out the window of the shuttle and seeing exactly what the world looks like and how big it is.
I could also see him having quite a bit of fun with the concept of anti-gravity...
