Ahh, you are absolutely right Marcus. Of course healthy debate about the 'origins of these ancients' should be discussed freely and without prejudice. In this spirit, I will endeavour to start multiple threads with weighty topics such as:-Why did the ancient sources often claim that the Macedonians worshiped the Greek Gods?
-Why did Philip II write to the Athenians as a fellow Greek?
-What is the meaning of such-and-such passage in such-and-such a source stating the Macedonians and the 'other Greeks'? If it cannot be recognized that certain individuals here are most obviously following an insidious tact, what can I say other than what is good for the goose is good for the gander? I certainly do not mind. Let the games begin...
