Re: Peter Jackson and King Kong
" believe that Oliver Stone betrayed me in the movie Alexander more than anything else. I can identify myself in many scenes, and I am wondering how the heck does he know that much about me and my life now here in the Valley and at GHS. I don't honestly know the answer to that question, but as it has been said, I had seen myself as an Alexander type of person, so I guess he just used me to his best advantage. (I have been a raging bull at times, I admit.)"WTF?? Am I the only one here thinking this's just a LITTLE bit looneytunes? Maybe you all can go with this flow but man! you guys gotta get out more or somethin'

Re: Peter Jackson and King Kong
Hi there Jan,Having seen King Kong over the weekend, I agree with you that Jackson may well have executed the movie of Alexander better than Stone. The characters felt more alive, as did the horrid beasts of Skull Island, than some of the actors played in the Alexander movie...I hear that Stone had intended on making a movie about Alexander for several years. Given his ambition, I am surprised (and perplexed) as to why he took so many risks. I have a feeling he compromised on several fronts, i.e. hiring Farell, thinking about Hollywood, etc. instead of focusing on what was best for the movie. Afterall, HIS story commands attention without any tailoring to mass audience demands!Regards,

Fair comment Kenny,Can't blame the guy for the script...Talking of the Emerals Isle, how was it that all the Macedonians spoke with an Irish accent? Was this to appeal to the Americans or in preparation for the invading Celts a few centuries later?!Regards,

Oh I love that! Like Porky Pig says, "That's all, Folks!" despite the fact that most think I am really "what's UP, Doc?" bugs bunny! Thanks, CF! I guess it would be smart to stop being such a wise guy, huh? And I even heard that Chicken Little has a big head, as Walt Disney is cashing in on that part of my life too! Did you have fun trying to portray CryBaby instead of Scarface? Caesar is Scarface in case you don't know!

Hi Kenny, Well, CF is my monogram also. Colin and I share the same monogram, his is CJF and Mine is JCF. We have a lot in common on only initials and Alexander so far as I can tell. Colin's middle name is James. He would make a cute bartender! Just another Irish trick for St. Patrick's Day.

I think as readily accepted the different regions of Greece at that time must have had dielect differences. The Uk has many dielects and maybe this diversity Stone was trying to put across.HailKenny
