Well, it's a well-known example, and there were horseshoes in Colonial America.Really! Do you think the Romans used horseshoes so many years (couple centuries) after Alexander? If so then I guess there were horseshoes in Colonial America, thanks for clearing that up. Unbelievable, nails should be used with horseshoes? Golly gee wiz I didn't know that! And all these years my foreman and crew have been using *glue* no wonder them damn shoes fall off. Do you think a horse will throw a shoe after period time if we start using nails?I got a great idea. If I pay your round trip ticket (first class) and come up to the ranch and show us how to put shoes on horses using nails we would be deeply in your debt. If not maybe you could show us drawings on your web site since were so illiterate and can't read.Boy, you learn something new every day! Thanks so much, your too kind.PS Speaking of eagles, while your up here we can shoot some bald & golden and watch them drop on the fish pond. But that might not be legal now would it, unless you're part Native American Indian.

Thanks, this has helped me out a great deal! I was wondering if you knew whether I could access Plutarch's fortune/virtue essay on the net or not? I know some of his works are posted online, but they're quite scattered.
