Message to pothos.org forum users with more than one ID

Moving pothos.org to new forum software

You may be aware that I have decided to move the pothos.org forum to new software, transferring the IDs over at the same time. I have transferred all the IDs I can from the old-style forum to the new-style forum so that people can log in straight away at http://www.pothos.org/phpBB2/ (the current location of the new forum). [EDIT: now here: http://www.pothos.org/forum/]

BUT, if you are receiving this email, you registered twice or more with the old forum and only ONE of those usernames (the one that comes first in the alphabet) will have made it in to the new forum since only one user per email address is allowed.

If the username you want to use is NOT currently in the new forum database you can do one of these things:

1) Register the ID you want with a new email address (assuming you have one);
2) Email me from this address telling me the id you want to use and I will change it.
3) Log in as the ID you don't want to use (the first one in the alphabet), click on "Profile" and change the ID there. I will allow this for the next month or so then lock the IDs.
