King Tutankhamun

First off, my apologies for a non Alexander post, but this is of particular interest to those who love both Egypt and Alexander. News has arrived today of an exhibition of Pharaoh Tutankhamun that will tour three major American cities: Philadelphia,
Los Angeles, and Chicago. I apologize for not having any information on the European leg of the tour. Nonetheless, you can visit http://www.kingtut.org for more information. Also, King Tut will be featured in the June issue of National Geographic and a special will air on Sunday on its channel.
One other thing, scientists' have just given the world a new look at what Tutankhamun may have looked like, it's actually rather breath taking.
You can find an image of it if you just go to google.com a click news and then type in his name. Well, that is about all. I know Egypt has a special place in my heart as I know it did with Alexander.Ray

I tried to visit this expo in Bonn, several months ago. It was a disaster: too many people. I finally left without having seen anything but people, people, people. As Marcel Proust once said: ignore museums, study the objects at your leisure in a book with pictures.HM

That remarkable image of Tut was on the front page of our newspaper the other day. Wow! Gorgeous!
