ATGs view of the world

Post by chris »

Would ATG really have believed the world to be flat? Astronomers in the ancient world at the time, I believe, knew the world to be round - surely this theory would have been known to Aristotle? What do you suppose his perceptions were?Chris

Eratosthenes showed the world was spherical, but he post-dates Alexander. I think the great man probably was a flat earther.
When you think about, it free-choice is the only possible option.
