website

Post by Linda »

Hi ThomasI think the site looks good now. Graphics - well, maybe one, but not really that important. And it is good to have a searchable forum. However, on my browser, the forum postings are shoved to the left and overlap the blue border. A little bit irritating. Makes it difficult to read. Thanks for your work!

Which browser are you using? I test on Explorer 5, 6 and Netscape 6.

LindaAs you say 1.1 is an alpha release. I think I would be foolish to try and recode the site until they go to stable release, since it might be a bug. Perhaps you could report it and see what they say?Maybe it is the site not the browser, in which case I will re-code, but I will need to know what I have got wrong. As far as I am aware the left hand margin is standards compliant.

You seem to have changed things - the blue left hand border has gone, and so the problem has gone for me. I quite like it that way - nice and clean.CheersLinda

Hmm - I don't either - i think I am just an oddball and you should ignore me. At home, the border has gone (Mozilla 1.0) and at work, Mozilla 1.1, it is still there. :)
