Oh God.

I wonder if "Leto", the Thracian peltast/archer/Agriane, is a love interest? One can just imagine the lines:

Leto (to Hephaestion): Take your filthy phalangite hands off him you brute!

Heph: Get away from him you bitch!

Ἐπὶ τοὺς πατέρας, ὦ κακαὶ κεφαλαί, τοὺς μετὰ Φιλίππου καὶ Ἀλεξάνδρου τὰ ὅλα κατειργασμένους;
Wicked men, you sin against your fathers, who conquered the whole world under Philip and Alexander.

You ain't seen nuthin yet! Take a look at this old article from Egypt Today (can hardly believe I've had the url stored all this time). Scroll down for the photos of Cleopatra and Niobe and their ... ahem ... clothes.

I'll let you guys make the jokes 'cause I'm at a loss for words

Best regards,
Em... Amyntoros... the second picture sold me the movie...

Who will be the next king of Macedon?

A) Arrhidaeus
B) Alexander III
C) Caranus
D) Other ___________

Ptolemy: I knew I should have studied!
Cassander: Well, it's obviously me.
Alexander: Hey!
Good thing I wasn't drinking anything right now, might have ruined my keyboard!

Somehow this all feels like something Xena/Hercules-like made for the big screen. Too bad it's not intended as a comedy or parody, it might work well as that. I mean, imagine something like Monty Python's "Life of Brian"! Hah! Now, I'd love to see THAT!
