Alexander the Great. We don't know his tomb. But for your thought, what objects do you think are buried with him?

Without looking it up, I think he had the (alleged) shield of Achilles that he took from Troy, which I think Augustus (or one of the Emperors, maybe Nero) took. Presumably he would also have had a spear and sword, maybe his armour and a gold wreath on his head. These would maybe have been in the glass coffin with him. In the room around him there may well have been the sort of gold, silver and ivory objcets found at Vergina but on a grander scale.

I hypothesize that the items that accompanied him were for sure his weapons, most probably those taken from the sacred city of Ilion ,golden wreaths of magnificent art ,and jewelry not just greek but also Persian and Indian ,testimonies of the countries he had conquered .The burian cloths must have been greek arrived from Macedonia all regulated by his mother Olympias
Two years on the road ,in any case the corpse headed to Aegai
This was the initial arrangement.Later on the Ptolemies , may have added some decorative symbol of their dynasty near the body or inside the coffin

Helmet, armor, cuirass, sheaves, victory wreath, his favorite book, braided mane hair from Bucephalus, gold coins, maps, and veils from marriage rites.

From what I found the place of Alexander's eternal rest was to become a place of pilgrimage for the great world of the time. In 48 years before Christ, the tomb of Alexander was to be visited by Julius Caesar, and shortly after Cleopatra's suicidal death, the adopted son of Caesar and his successor Augustus Octavian appeared at the foot of the Macedonian. The chroniclers mention that on the grave of the great conqueror he laid a bouquet of flowers and ordered to put a golden tiara over his head. The heir of both great Romans, Caligula, who was jealous of Alexander's fame, decided to rob the corpse soon afterwards. Legend has it that the spies of the mad emperor ransacked the tomb, taking away the gold and jewels (the coffin itself, made of genuine bullion, supposedly weighed 30 tons), and Caligula himself brutally ripped the priceless breastplate from the dead king. Many years later, the noble Emperor Septimius Sewer laid out the means to repair the cracked tomb. In 217, after Christ, another madman, Septimius Sever's son, Karakall, probably inspired by curiosity, had Alexander's tunic, his ring, belt and a few more trinkets removed from the tomb and left the coffin outside.
