An Etruscan Alexander-type bronze statuette dated to 300-250 BC.

It's very difficult to know if it is meant to be Alexander, or just influenced by him, or just the style of the day. It's in the British Museum.

I was going to ask where that was. Alexias, did the placard ID it other than place and date?

"Bronze votive statuette of a youth holding a cup in a gesture of offering and an incense box
Etruscan or Faliscan 300BC - 250 BC
Castellani collection"

This is the link to the BM's online catalogue https://www.britishmuseum.org/research/ ... tte&page=1

Perhaps it refers to the Alexander story of being too generous as a boy with incense?

There is this terracotta head too (which I've posted before) and which definitely seems influenced by Alexander

I've just noticed on the terracotta head that there is an indentation on the hair for a fillet or wreath - which I think means a divinity, a ruler or a crowned athlete.

If you click on the BM image of the bronze, it does say it might be ATG
Bronze votive statuette of youth (Alexander the Great?) holding a cup in a gesture of offering and an incense-box.
