Re: Persians,Greeks,Romans,Kelts,Teutons,Hindus and Slavs
Since the Aryans reproduced faster they slowly began to take control of the land. Infact it seems that they forcebly pushed out the these people and this often caused battles to take place. I know this because in Iran there are storys of Aryans having to fight Deavs(this word means Devils and infact...

Re: Persians,Greeks,Romans,Kelts,Teutons,Hindus and Slavs
Yet when the Aryans settled in the Iranian Platue it seems to be a completely different story. It seems in the Iranian platue these new migrants first accquired jobs as warriors since they had many skills that the Indiginous people of the area did not. These People were most likly Lures and Elamites...

Re: Persians,Greeks,Romans,Kelts,Teutons,Hindus and Slavs
Well it seems the exact date of the migration may be somewhat a mystery. There are also other problems concerning the race and appearance of the Aryans. Western historians beleave that the Aryans are from Eastern Europe or Western Asia(Caucase Mountains). Yet others believe that Aryans are from the ...

Re: Kohyar, please show some respect!
I know this site is about Alexander and you think what i posted does not have anything to do with Alexander.I think on the other had it is related to Alexander and the Greeks because it is believed that both Greeks and Macidonians are partly decendants of the Indo-European Aryans. So i believe in no...

Re: Persians,Greeks,Romans,Kelts,Teutons,Hindus and Slavs co
Well most of the evidence to back this theory up comes from the langwages of europe. I have read based on the research that Greek, Latin, German,Persian, and slavic langwages all share alot of stricking similarities. You cant expect me to believe that Indo-European langwage spread to all these places...

4000-3000 BC is the aproximate date for the migration of Indo-Iranian tribes from their Central Asian settlement, however, recent Archaeological, and Anthropological discoveries in Central Asia seem to provide information leading us to believe that this date could have been later, closer to 2500 or 2...

Again i am posting some information to show origin of Greek culture and langwage to be derived from the original Aryan prehistoric tongue. Altough i know i am not refering to Alexander. I do stress that much of Greek culture and langwage is derived from the ancient Aryans.http://pchome.grm.hia.no/~f...

Re: Persians Nice polite and friendly
Oh i forgot to mention a few thingsSo you say that the Persians were conquered to this day? Is that why after the rule of just five Selucid Kings the Parthians drove them out and established there empire which was almost the size of the original empire of the Archamanid. The parthians ruled for over...

Re: Persians Nice polite and friendly
Well it seems that you know very little about Cyrus the Great. To compare the army of Cyrus to that of Darius III is like comparing lions to sheep. During Cyrus time ALL Persian troops weather archers or infantry or on horse were trained as young boys to be soldiers(starting there careers around the...

I would like to hear of the sorce of such a charge? From my knowledge of Cyrus the Great it is almost the opposite of what you are...

Re: I dont understand why Alexander is so famous
Well im not sure about you saying that there were no military achivements before him. The Medes and the Babylonians teamed up some where in between 600-700 B.C. to squash the cruel Assyirians. Even though it seems the Medes did almost all the fighting and the Babylonian army arived latter both Babyl...

A great page i found "Cyrus The Great and Alexander"
Cyrus The Greatand his influence upon Alexander One of the historical figures most admired by Alexander The Great is also most often overlooked; he is Cyrus The Great. Alexander revered and respected the achievements of Cyrus. He visited his tomb and took stern measures against those who had allowed...
