I think what your thinking of are the black Kifirs, they also claim they are decendants of Dyonises, living now some where in Afgahanistan?! They still wear Greek costumes and dance the greek dances..........george

added to it all the mental anguish of command, and the loss of Hephaestian, I'd say no one I know could have lasted half as much. Alexander was a man's man afterall.

I have recently read about this Greek Bactrian King who came about 130 years after ATG. strabo among others say might have been greater that the mighty ATG.Could it be? It is said he subdued many more tribes and peoples than our guy?!true or falsegeorge

Alexander's humor
alexander is known for many things a great general, a lover of men and women, science, ect. but what of his humor? I read nothing except when he jested about the 9 months in his mother's womb.anyone have any funny's about ATG? Could his life have been so serious. Pity.george

oh yeah kenny for sure. I think as most do it was Cassander, he hated ATG so since before he through him againt the wall, and almost strangled him! Cassander was in Pella at the center, he might have figured the diochi would kill each other, which they did, and he then could tighted his grip on the ...

If someone wanted to take over alexander's empire they first would have to consider would they be the successor, or maybe able to control that successor.Lets say ATG died first, and everyone knew it was H who ATG would have wanted to succeed him. This would leave the killer(s) with another alexander...
