Thank you for the photos, Pauline, and I hope you enjoyed the exhibition.

Tiny question. I know we've had various discussions here https://pothos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6943 and here principally https://pothos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2841 about whether Alexander led the cavalry or the phalanx against the Sacred Band and I'm still not sure of the answer. But I have some questions.

1/ How did a cavalryman reach low enough, and with sufficient force, without the benefit of saddle or stirrups to keep him on horseback, to slice through a man's lower leg bone? Yes, he could have sliced his leg, but not chopped right through the bone. That must surely have been the work of a sword-wielding infantryman (not a sarissa-wielder), and if the man had been felled by his leg being broken, then the head wound could equally have been an infantry injury and not necessarily a downward slash from a cavalryman.

Alternatively, if the head wound came first, then that might indicate a cavalry charge, followed up by an infantry attack.

2/ How representative of the other bones is this combination of injuries? There appears to be a few head wounds to the skulls shown.
