What did happen in this period, did Alexander build a city?

Cyrus hailIts pushing the story that Alexander performed miracles,, To have built a city so fast is some kind of an enginnering miracle.Maybe he threw together a temple or two maybe even a damn.Kenny

Nothing is recorded, and actually, as Kenny remarks, it would be a miracle. Alexander was in Susa 15-22 December; the battle of the Gates was 19-20 January.See http://www.livius.org/aj-al/alexander/a ... no.htmland

He had a lot of time, so he can have done a lot, including rebuilding a city at the head of the Persian Gulf, which was later called Charax. I've never been able to find out where it was.HM
