That was very interesting Marcus, thanks for sharing the link! There was some information that I had never known about the customs practiced way back then. The burying of the dead in jars I think was practiced by some other ancient prehistoric societies as well. (I want to say asian, but I could be wrong.) I can't wait to see what else they find!

There were found also many findings near the burial ground of Aiane. It appears the archaeological team of Menteside found 243 new graves in the area with a large amount of female golden jewellery. I havent found anything in the net yet but their presentation will be next Thursday in Thessalonike during the yearly Archaeological symposium.
