Dear Susan,If I were to write the script for an Alexander film I would make Sasigupta the husband of Ada the younger, daughter of Pixodarus. This may sound like a love triangle but probably it was not. But my researches show beyond any doubt that Orontobates of Caria was the same as Diodotus of Erythrae of Caria and Sisines. The other names of the husband of Ada were Sasigupta and Moeris and probably also Tiridates who was in charge of Persepolis. Who was Medios who lured Alexander to the fateful late-night party? The drama Mudrarakshasa has some dark hints at a lady named Sasikala who may be the wife of Sasigupta. Eumenes of Caria, Diodotus of Caria and Sasikala - what a potent mix! Alexander appears as a ghost in the drama. With best regards,Dr. Pal
