I enjoyed the series, though in all honesty, there wasn't much historical about it. They also melded Bagoas and Hephaistion together, which is an insult to someone, depending who you would be "rooting" for, so to speak. The take on Greek philosophy was good, I thought, though I'm admittedly not an expert in Greek philosophy. I'm not an Aeon Flux fan and the men in the series were a bit feminine for my taste, but that's the style and it worked suprisingly well for Reign, as did the sci-fi take. I give it an B+ and have already added it to my collection.
