Emendation of any text, without an extremely sound basis, is never recomended: such may licence the invention of history.
I have since modified my view, slightly, of the Macedonian right at Sellasia given long discussion with "Xenophon". The settled paper and (unfortunately) hand described map is on it's way.

I'd be interested in the evidence that Diodorus' summary of the Babylonian Settlement - including the annulment of the hypomnemata - "fairly likely" comes from Kleitarchos.

Book XVII of Diodoros is generally credited as substantially Kleitarchos
Curtius too used Kleitarchos extensively and he ended his history with an account of the dissension at Babylon therefore Kleitarchos covered Babylon.
Diodoros XVIII covers events in Babylon and is therefore also 'likely' to be Kleitarchan.
