Alexander:God and Man by Ian Worthington
Just to put a word in for Ian's book on Alexander. Ian is very well known in England as I have learned, and has done a stint in Australia also. He is very thorough in his discussion of Alexander, and I found him to be very much fun to read. (Despite his cross-referencing paragraphs here and there, driving me to distraction, and his positive assertions of assumptions, not facts, in his premise, his book is entertaining if not truly one more of the same old stuff about our guy ATG.He does cite materials that are probably totally irrelevant to the discussion, such as when girls of India get married, how, why, and to whom, but that is part of the fun of either absolutely loving this book or absolutely hating it. You must decide that for yourself. I suggest everyone read it, just to get to know how Ian thinks.
