Mycenean. From the Peloponnese. But I believe they enlisted others to help such as the men from Karystos in Euboeia.

Dating the war to c1230 BC would mean Late Helladic III c Mycenaeans and Late Minoan III Cretans
When you think about, it free-choice is the only possible option.
