The lost city of Messene

I have the opportunity to send this 6-minute short film in which the professor P. Themelis and his team. They excavate and bring to the light the ancient city of Messene (Peloponesus) as built by the Messenians when they won against the Spartans at Leuktra.

One could say a LOT about all shown in the film but unfortunately I don't have the means to do so at this time. Suffice to say that among the findings a sculpture was found that depicts Alexander as if he was Hercules, hunting a lion, accompanied by Krateros who is riding a horse.
