In the (very) distant 2013 i posted this

a dig of 1915 in Faliro during which, skeletons were found of people who were executed. I want to add here that in the ever more distant 1915 the papers of the time had accused the excavator in charge as.... a socialist who was making attempts to portray the classical ancient Greece as barbaric. The people of the time used to travel to the Faliro region either by foot, tram, carriages to see the never-seen before scene until a minister took action and asked for proof that this was indeed an ancient burial site(!) Since there were no grave gifts at the time (such as vases etc) the archaeologist gave the metal handcuffs to a laboratory of the state for inspection only to be proven right triumphally since the said chains were made of orychalcos and not from the then modern cast iron.

After exactly 100 years, during an excavation at the same place 1500 burials were found dating back from 7th to 4th BC but the finding that surprised everyone was that again 80 men were found buried together 36 of whom are chained from their hands with metal handcuffs. This time there were grave gifts were found which proves that these were Athenian citizens. The grave gifts date back to late 7th BC and the hypothesis is that these are the murdered by design followers of the noble Kilon as mentioned in Thucydides A'126,4.

They are men that had good lifes as indicated by their perfect teeth. More examination of the skeletons their cause of death will be made clear. Here are some of the first photos of the site:
