Thank you for your comment,my son fixed the problem.Pydna still gives us sculptures and mouments, and i think it will continue to do so in the future. ( I also hope for the other half of an certain epigraphy to be discovered...) Sorry the text is in greek.

I also cannot see the monogram, but my understanding is that her point was that such monograms (among other evidence) where used to date the tomb in the late 4th century BC. There has never been an explanation from the arcaeological team on how they were so certain with the chronology even from 201...

Parts of a double marble door and parts of its usual iron moving mechanism (characteristic of the Macedonian tombs) was found in chamber no.3 of the Amfipolis tomb. No photos exist as of yet, this was just announced.

According to professor Faklaris , the shoes of the Cariatids in Amphipolis, are not ' kothornoi' but' Kripides' a kind of sandal (kothornoi were really tall )

About the' Klodones ' of Andrew.The similarities with the ladies of Amphipolis are impressive. I cant remember a similar statue in Greek soil anyway ....but that said , i cant state i have seen all the statues in Hellas.
