Tetrarchy?
I've read that "tetrarchy" is a calvary unit formed by 60 horsemen. Isn't a tetrarchy supposed to be a form of goverment in which the territory is divided into four? Does any of the primary sources use that term to refer to the calvary? Or any famous historian? If so, which is the original...

Well.....if you look at the little ivory figurine purported to be Olympias, her neck seems to sort of twist to the the left, too. The figurine purported to be Cassander also has sort of a strange, serpentine looking neck. It is known that kids can inherit their parent's habits. As for Cassander and...

Alexander didnt have a twisted neck. He just had a habbit of leaning his head towards the right from time to time. And this habit is really common, I also do it for example, and many people. So I couldn't help laughing when I read that  And I'm sure Philip considered Alexander his successor, h...

You are my hero
The only ones who would disagree with your decission are those that have caused the arguement. I applaud you, as well as the immense majority, for being brave, and doing the right thing without thinking of the consequences, which for me, are good. Re: Oh dear dear me.
I admit (mea culpa!) that I meant to stir things up a little, but not like this! In regard to the pothos rules, I wonder if referring to homosexuals as "freaks of nature" would fall under "inappropriate language"...? I wonder also if the service which hosts the forum has terms o...

Re: Oh, yeah, we're talking about a movie

Beatriki wrote: What do you find sad? Well, here's this guy who's admired and been fascinated with Alexander all his life -- he's said so. He grows up to be a movie-maker, and all along he wants to do an Alexander movie, and make it the greatest work he's done, in tribute to his hero. It's literall...

Hello, with all due respect to Oliver Stone and his movie, how many times are they going to revisit it?(there still could be several more, Ruthaki, so I would hang on a month or two, just in case) OK he made the film and that is it, so basically what he is selling is the same movie but with a new p...
